I have been vacationing in the US Virgin Islands since 1996. In November of 2016 I purchased my first fantastic updated two bedroom, two bathroom condominium at Watergate Villas on Bolongo Beach, St. Thomas. The condo offers spacious accommodations for up to 5 adults or 6 people including kids. In Feb 2017 I purchased another unit, a studio/efficiency unit that rents for a lower price point and can accommodate up to 3 people. I now offer 3 units including the newest 2 bedroom 2 bath unit that is so close to the ocean that you could literally cast a fishing pole or throw a coconut from the balcony and hit the water! If you want to be closer to the water, you are going to need to be on a BOAT.
All of our units have southeast facing patios, so you are shaded from the afternoon sun and lounging on the balcony is completely comfortable all day. We have smoke/fire detectors in each unit and safety GFCI electrical outlets in the kitchen, baths and on the patio. We also have GREAT water pressure and new showerheads in the bathrooms. These are things that we all take for granted in the States, but MANY rental condos on the island have NONE of them! We have it covered for you!
2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Units -
With 1100 square feet of space, no one will ever feel cramped like many hotel rooms. Each of the 2 bedrooms has its own attached bath and the bathrooms are accessible to the living area, without going through the bedrooms. There are 3 A/C units, one in each bedroom and one in the living area. There is also a smart TV or smart DVD player in the living room for streaming your online entertainment subscriptions such as Netflix, Amazon and Hulu and free WIFI that is fast and reliable.
The master suite has direct access to the patio and OCEAN VIEW with PREMIUM QUALITY BEDDING. We have a king-size bed and LCD TV. The second bedroom can be set up either as two single beds, or as a one king bed depending on your group's needs. We have HIGH QUALITY Plush mattresses and premium quality linens as well. There is also a high quality self-inflating air mattress that can be used in the living room to accommodate more guests if needed.
The Poolside 2 bedroom unit is the one of the BEST LOCATED units in the complex. Direct oceanfront and direct poolfront. From the 30 foot expansive patio, it is only 10 steps to the pool and 30 steps to the sand....it doesn't get any better than that! This unit is the MOST convenient to the parking lot, and coin operated laundry facilities are located just 20 feet from your door.
The Oceanside 2 bedroom unit has the same layout and huge patio, but this unit is literally just feet from the ocean. This unit was completely refurnished in March 2018 with high quality, tropical decor. You will LOVE the unmatched ocean view from the 30 foot balcony. You can literally toss a coconut from your balcony and hit the water. Being on the second floor you can leave your patio door open and listen to the waves all night long. Unless you are staying on a BOAT you can't get any closer to the water than here!
The Studio unit has all the same amenities and quality furnishings as the 2 bedroom unit, but at a lower price. It is approximately 550 square feet, and has a PLUSH King size bed plus a high quality self-inflating air mattress for up to 3 total guests. The condo has a full size living area, A/C and a ceiling fan, plus a large LED SmartTV with free WIFI. There is a breakfast bar off the kitchen for meals in the condo, but we are sure you will prefer to dine on the patio. All furniture and appliances are updated on a regular basis. The studio unit is located in building 14, about 150 yards south of the main pool, oceanfront, with a fabulous constant view of the waves. From the Studio balcony you have to throw the coconut just a bit farther than the Oceanside 2 bedroom unit, but you can STILL hit the water! I have done it!
By renting MULTIPLE units we can accommodate a party of up to 15 total guests! PLUS, we have relationships with other owners at the complex to arrange for more units if needed.
Before I was an owner, I was a renter just like you. I know what guests want in a rental condo. I take great pride in how efficiently the condo is set up and in providing the best amenities for guests' comfort and convenience. Each condo in the complex is individually owned and maintained and not all are the same.

Top quality plush bath and supersize beach towels
REAL QUALITY premium bedding and mattresses on all beds...if you've ever stayed in a condo or resort with cheap "rental" mattresses, you know how valuable this is. A good night sleep makes for a much better vacation.
Full sets of cookware, dishes, silverware and kitchen utensils including blender, coffee maker, and toaster. We replace these items regularly as needed.
A starter supply of high quality toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent (poolside unit with dishwasher only).

Pool and beach toys for the kids, beach chairs, snorkel equipment, coolers, beach mat, beach umbrella and beach bags, and a portable Bluetooth radio for your enjoyment....less to bring from home!
Basically, the BEST of everything....We spare no expense. This is our vacation home too and we only have the best for ourselves and YOU.
The condo complex itself has easy walking access to two great restaurants. Mim's Seaside Bistro is open for dinner and is located on the property! IGGIE’S Oasis is a great restaurant at the Bolongo Bay Beach Resort just 200 yds down the beach. Very good food and affordable prices for breakfast lunch and dinner.
Not only is this condo's location on the property most appealing, the condos location on the island is IDEAL! As you can see from the map photo, anything you may need is just a short drive away! St Thomas' historic capital of Charlotte Amalie is just a 12 minute drive west to the BEST duty-free shopping in the Caribbean, and the yachting hub of Red Hook is only a 10 minute drive east. Passenger and car ferries to St. John and the British Virgin Islands leave from Red Hook. The local shopping area with multiple grocery stores, Kmart, Walgreens, banks, movie theater and even a Home Depot is only 10 minutes away at the Tutu Park Mall area.
Even before we owned these units we had been coming to the USVI for YEARS. We know all the good restaurants and which ones are rip offs. We know where to get the best price on groceries and which are the best beaches. We know which tours and activities are worth doing and which are tourist traps. We know which days are the best to shop in town to avoid the cruise ship crowds and which stores are the best. We know many "hidden" gems that will make your vacation experience one to remember for a lifetime....and we know you will be coming back to stay with us again soon. We especially know all the best HAPPY HOURS! Happy hour is a tradition on the island and MANY different restaurants offer great discounts on food and drink.
